The Munir Group (TMG) is led by Michael Munir, Aaron McIntyre and Zach Anderson. Veteran builders with 50 years of custom home building experience, and native roots in Austin. Trust and quality construction is at the foundation of every project we do. Three long time friends, with deep experience in the home building space, got together to start the home building company that Austin deserves.

He has a deep understanding of local terrain and strong relationships with his subcontractors, engineers, architects, designers, and city inspectors. He learned the trade from his father in high school, started renovating homes right out of UT, and has mastered every step from the foundation up. Aaron has extensive knowledge of best-practice building systems and performance. He has successfully managed high-end projects ranging from $1M remodels to $17M custom homes. He has worked top designers and architects to deliver homes that exceed expectations and earn client commendations. Aaron brings a perfectionist ethos to the job site, ensuring his trusted subcontractors deliver the finest quality. When not on a job site, Aaron loves to play golf, fishing, and UT sports. Aaron is a native Austinite (Austin High, University of Texas) and lives in Westlake.

He is actively involved of all phases of the home building process, but really stands out in identifying value in the design process. He helps our clients build the finest quality home by allocating budget to the areas that will bring the biggest return. With a degree in Interior Design, he bridges the gap between construction and style, helping you visualize layouts and make smart design decisions. Stuck on one of the thousands of choices a custom home requires? He steps in with practical solutions and zero ego. In addition to being Managing Partner at TMG, he is President & COO of Sharif & Munir Custom Homes in Dallas. He is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Greater Dallas Home Builders Association and National Home Builders Association. Michael loves to play golf, UT football, and the Dallas Cowboys. Michael was born in Dallas, where he lives, but fell in love with Austin while he attended the University of Texas.
